The organizers of the European Scooter Trophy and the European Pitbike Trophy invited all participants for the season finale in Jüterbog. Due to Corona it was a short and therefore even more exciting season. In a full field of riders the motto of the season was: Every point counts and even small failures will cost you the championship! After the turbulent second leg in Wittgenborn attendance and and popularity weres still in full swing. More than 100 drag racers at a one day event was another record milestone of season 2021. And it was all or nothing this time. None of the competitors in the 9 classes had secured the championship at this point. And so the competitions became fast-paced and exciting. The conditions for the races were ideal. Asphalt, weather and the atmosphere were at their peak and the packed schedule with lots of activities and life made it a day to remember.
The results of the weekend by class:
Class 1 – Rookies by Scooter-Attack
Norman Neufang started the race in Jüterbog with a clear lead of 23 points. The gap between second-placed Drath and third-placed Kugel was much closer at 6 points. The timed practice confirmed the previous season’s impression. Neufang raced the best time among the rookies with a gap of three tenths ahead of Drath and Janz. Kugel was able to keep up with the trio in fourth place.
The first race got off to a flying start. Drath immediately overtook Neufang. But Neufang was able to counter quickly. Janz gave everything to keep up with the top duo. Neufang was able to pull away bit by bit. Everything was already looking like a final victory when Neufang had to quit on lap 12. Thus Drath raced directly to the finish line and made 1st place ahead of Janz, who had fallen to 3rd place in the meantime, but in the end still managed to finish 2nd ahead of Kugel.
In the second race it went better for Neufang. Already at the start he gave Drath no chance and showed why he is at the top of the championship in the rookie class. But Drath was not intimidated by this and stayed close to Neufang. The duo pulled away from the rest of the chasing pack early on. For Drath it was a chance to reach for the stars again. A victory would be enough for him to win the championship. But Neufang remained calm and made no mistakes. Kugel made it to place 3 this time. Janz could not keep up with the speed from the first race and had to let Kugel drive by.
In the end it was very tight for Neufang. His 23 points lead melted down to 3 points before Drath. For Kugel, it meant 3rd place in the final rankings for season 2021.
Day Rankings Class 1 – Rookies by Scooter-Attack

Class 2 – SuperSport
The SuperSport championship was characterized by a four-way fight. Richter was 2 points ahead of Thönnissen, and Sperling and Alles, with a gap of no more than 11 points in the overall rankings, also had a decent chance of winning the championship. In the qualification Sperling first escaped the whole field. More than 1 second distance to the second placed Depta was quite a ballpark figure for the upcoming races. D’Alessandro came in third.
In the first race Depta started confidently and immediately passed Sperling. Sperling countered immediately and regained 1st place. Pedersen showed a very strong performance, he moved up directly to 2nd place. As during qualifying, Sperling was at the front of the pack and raced away from the field. The duel of the race was between Pedersen and D’Alessandro. Both fought like lions. Richter was only just able to keep up the pace. Sperling, who already seemed a definite winner in the first race, dropped out shortly before the end due to a technical defect. Pedersen was able to pull away from D’Alessandro in the meantime and, thanks to Sperling dropping out, was the winner of the first race. Richter and Depta followed behind D’Alessandro.
The start of the second race was also turbulent. Depta as the start winner in front, followed by Pedersen. On lap 2 the field re-arranged itself and Depta had Sperling breathing down his neck, followed by D’Alessandro and Pedersen. Sperling crashed and had to rejoin at the rear of the field. On lap 5, D’Alessandro slammed into the tire pile in front of the start-finish line. As a result, the race had to be interrupted. After an interruption of almost 20 minutes, the race was restarted. At the end of the race, Pedersen won, followed by a strong René Richter. Third place went to Thönnissen ahead of Alles. Alles had to plow his way through the entire field during the two races, as he was unable to complete qualifying, and was able to collect important points for the championship.
In the championship, Richter was thus able to increase his narrow lead over his rival Thönnissen.

Class 3 – Expert by Scooter-Attack
The championship in the Expert class was completely undecided before Jüterbog. The chaotic rain race in Wittgenborn was the high point in terms of suspense. Andersen from Denmark was 9 points ahead of Ong in the championship, who in turn was only 2 points ahead of Harder.
In the qualification the struggle for victory was already noticeable. Ong made a perfect lap of 1:04.369. The Polini Cup guest pilot from Italy, Lanzilao, was only able to cross the line 3 hundredths behind him. In terms of winning the championship, Andersen lost even more ground with his 5th place on the grid. Harder placed third.
The tension was at bursting point before the race. After the starting lights went out, things got heated right away. Lukas crashed after a braking error, taking Schmitt with him, who tried to swerve. Both drivers were able to get up again and continue the race. At the front Ong gave it his everything and was able to keep even Lanzilao in check throughout the race. Andersen could not keep up with the speed of the leading team. Harder was the unlucky one. After a crash in the fourth lap he had to quit with a flat tire and thus also put aside all hopes for the championship. Andersen profited fro this, he gained one place. Ong was almost crossing the start and finish line at the front when suddenly he lost power. Lanzilao and Andersen couldn’t believe it and overtook Ong so close to the finish line that Ong had to give up important points for the championship to Andersen. Crazy.
In the second race, the cards were reshuffled again. Andersen basically only had to not fall from his scooter and Ong had to hope that Andersen would drop out and that he would be able to get a good result himself. And so it started to get intense right at the start. Ong in front. Lanzilao, Andersen and Harder followed. Harder was determined and quickly overtook Andersen. But Andersen had other plans and immediately went into a duel. Lanzilao quit in the middle part of the race after a crash. Andersen and Harder fought for 2nd place, and in the end Andersen prevailed by a blink of an eye. Ong won the race without any mistakes and thus secured the day’s victory.
The new European Scooter Trophy Champion in the Expert class comes from Denmark and is called Stefan Andersen. Congratulations! Yannik Ong was able to make a great second place and showed the rest of the field that he has claims to the championship in 2022. Third place goes to former champion Marc Harder, who no one should write off. 2022 will certainly continue just as great as 2021 ended.

Class 4 – Supramatic & BigBore
The championship in Class 4 was a three-way duel. Unfortunately, the elading racer Lövenich could not start, so the podium was decided between Moutschka and Zehe. Both riders were tied on points. During qualifying, Moutschka clearly pulled away from Zehe. In 3rd place, Kazilas was clearly further behind.
Both races were won by Moutschka. His scooter simply ran perfectly. Zehe also had to quit early in the first race and leave the field. This allowed Kazilas to move up to 2nd place in the first race. Third place went to Gronow. In the second race, Zehe was able to get back into the mix and finished the last race of the season in second place ahead of Kazilas.
In the championship, it was plain sailing for Moutschka due to his two victories and he won the championship in class 4. Second place in the championship went to Zehe ahead of Lövenich.

Class 5 – PitBike Stock by Scooter-Attack
Brzeski versus Wittwer was the duel of the championship. Brezski had managed to build up a 10-point lead before Jüterbog. For Förster, it was more of a theoretical chance of making it to the top. In qualifying, the difference was clear to see. 1.5 seconds separated the two rivals.
In the first race, however, Brezski had to make way for the guest starters. Ullrich and Andruchiewicz were clearly faster than Brzeski and led the PitBike Stock. Ullrich and Andruchiewicz fought gripping duels. In the end, Ullrich was able to maintain the lead and won narrowly but confidently.
The second race had to be stopped early after a heavy crash after the start-finish line. However, both riders got away with a scare and so the race was restarted. It was almost a 1:1 mirror of the first race, with Ullrich having to keep Andruchiewicz at bay while being careful not to lose the win himself. Brezski had a lot of trouble keeping up with the top duo. Wittwer followed at a clear distance.
At the end of the third race, the first European Pit Bike Trophy champion was Nils Brezski from Team Kaktus Racing. Second place went to Jonas Wittwer followed by Cedric Förster.
Day Rankings Class 5 – PitBike Stock by Scooter-Attack

- #6 Marcus Andruchiewicz 40 pts.
- #469 Nils Brzeski 32 pts.
Class 6 – GP-Open
The championship in the Open Class would already have been certain, had the undefeated leader Gras been at the start in Jüterbog. This way it was more exciting. Schmitt had the theoretical chance to catch up with Gras. A victory and a second place were enough. Lang, however, did not want to let him pass so easily.
The daily ranking was dominated by the guest starters from Simson GP. Deisinger dominated the field ahead of Lenk and Lang.
In the first race Deisinger was able to distance himself clearly from the rest of the field. Lang gave it his best, but on average had to let Deisinger pull away by more than a second. Postler made third place. Lenk dropped out early in the race.
In the second race, Deisinger reasserted his lead and won without competition ahead of Lang and Postler. Time for some serious calculations for the championship rankings. Because of the guest starters, Schmitt gained 40 points in the end and the lead of Gras melted down to 2 points. However, he was denied the final victory. Thus this year’s champion in the GP Open is Henning Gras. Heiko Schmitt came in second ahead of Benjamin Lang.
Day Rankings Class 6 – GP Open

Class 7 – Beginners
In the Beginner class, The championship looked like a done deal for Alexander Krawitz. Get there and simply stay on the bike was the motto.
Krawitz, however, went into his last race with more than a little ambition. With a lead of more than a second over Ilic and just under 3 seconds over Beinlich, he gave himself a good starting position for the race. By the way, his first steps in the Beginner class happened exactly one year ago in Jüterbog.
In the race itself, Krawitz went straight ahead and made for a very good start-finish victory. Ilic in second place was unable to rise in the rankings and had to keep third-placed Wels at bay.
In the championship Krawitz was the undefeated winner and we are curious to see if he will compete in the Rookies class in 2022. 2nd and 3rd place was a battle for points. Wojciechowski’s good placing made it really exciting again when battling with Rodens. In the end, both were tied with 43 points in the rankings. Rodens, however, hat the better placing on the HarzRing and thus made second place. Wojciechowski came in third.
Day Rankings Class 7 – Beginners

Class 8 – Endurance & Class 9 – Endurance Split
In the endurance race, teams Streetlights and Simson GP 2 made for an exciting race. Streetlights once again claimed the championship with 2 seconds distance to the rest of the field. But Ems Coast Tunerz, too, had a lot of plans for the long distance races. For the ladies of ND Design it was about important points for the championship against NEKROX Allstars.
In the race itself Streetlights had to quit early. This cleared the way for Ems Coast Tunerz and they were able to take the victory almost without any competition. AK Racing and Amp on the other hand had to fight much more and the rider changes caused some thrill and excitement. Pumba Racing 2 and AKA Racing Team 1 were generally very close and only waited for the other one to make a mistake, which did not happen, though.
In the Endurance Split Simson GP 2 gave their best, but could not gain a lot on ND Design, who bravely defended their second place ahead of GT Racing Team.
In the Endurance classification, Pumba Racing 2 won the championship in the end, ahead of AKA Racing and AK Racing and Amp. In Class 9 it was ND Design who gave everyone a good show and in the end won a surprising but well deserved championship title. Second place went to NEKROX Allstars ahead of Learn2slide.
